Call for IBIS related patent disclosures: - None Call for opens: - None Review of previous meeting minutes: Minutes from the July 14 meeting were reviewed. Randy Wolff moved to approve. Lance Wang seconded. Without objection the minutes were approved. ARs: - Bob Ross to review the BIRD181.2 draft - Not done yet. New parser bugs: Bob Ross reported there were no new bug reports. IBISCHK 7.0.2 development: Bob Ross reported that we got Linux and Windows test executables and test cases. Bob said it would be difficult to test all of the "orphan keyword" checks. Mike LaBonte suggested testing the one that lead to BUG210. Bob suggested looking for "orphan" in the message strings. Mike found a message "Orphaned Keyword '%s'. Needs a '%s'" in code that was used for IBIS 1.x. Bob suggested letting that go. Bob said the developer had asked about BUG203, if there should be caution messages for additional similar situations. Bob felt some of the added messages might have overreached, covering valid situations. Randy Wolff felt the caution messages were OK because they represented best practices. We decided to leave them. Bob said he had 5 or 6 more bug to verify. One was a "logical and" correction that had no functional effect, would have to be checked by code inspection. Mike said he had started testing the new executables against hundreds of IBIS files but had not yet reviewed the results. AR: Bob Ross to verify fixes for ibischk bugs in ibischk702 test executables AR: Mike LaBonte to test new ibischk702 test executables against IBIS file library Lance Wang asked which Linux distributions were use to compile ibischk. Mike said the developer used Ubuntu, and Mike compiled using RedHat. Lance said RedHat 6.6 and below use a different gcc, and that was causing runtime problems. He suggested RedHat 7 would be better. Mike said he had seen the same issues, and he would use RHEL7 to compile. Tabled topics (no discussion without motion): - IBIS-ISS parser Bob Ross moved to adjourn. Randy Wolff seconded. Without objection the meeting ended. Meeting ended: 11:31 ET Next meeting July 28, 2020
